I have gotten an unusual request to apply some type of protective film to some glazing that will be exposed to coastal conditions I.E northeaster's, windblown sand ,salt spray etc. I will be qouting 7 mil ag film but while working up the estimate it dawned on me that PPF may have a greater life span :asshat: the panels will be 3'-8" X 7,-6" would PPf be a difficult install? we would be working off of ladders or scaffolding too.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

:dunno it might last longer, especially under those conditions, but the only thing I would wonder about, is how often do they clean those windows, clearbra (rubbery) would be harder to clean IMO than just an graffiti film :dunno PPF would also be ALOT more expensive, around 3X the "cost" of graffiti, and it would be a little harder to install, but more forgiving than film.

Hope that helps :asshat:

Good thing your not a baseball player then, your battting average would be .000326
