Do you turn you warranties into the Dist ?

yeah well.....the last one that came calling didn't have their paperwork so they (customer) paid me anyway.

I have always gave the customer the warranty papers and if they don't keep them it is not my fault.

I turned in 2 or 3 auto claims and 1 flat glass claim and got paid on all of them with Sungard.....

I dont see that happening again..

I had a bad run in the late 80's/early 90's with some SunGard RLW series (back before they gave them names) around 20 cars, they paid, no problem. I have never had a claim on SunGard flat. When I used SolarGard, (pre-Bekaert) I had 1 claim. The job was done in Denver, and SolarGard asked if I'd do the re-do. I said sure. The custy did not have a "MFGR warranty card", only a reciept from the shop that did the job. The master roll #s were pretty much illegible, they paid anyway. I redid 2 rollups and they sent me a whole 40" roll to cover it. (True)

Actually, I just got a letter from the Canadian distributor saying that they have an account set aside for this, and that they, themselves, will be honoring all Sungard warranty claims.
