Had a strip and re-tint booked in. The old tint had turned purple cheap film after 9 months installed. Job came in and looking at it I thought it wasnt a bad install, little containimation, just a poor choice of cheap film then I dropped the roll downs, check out the micro edge!! It looks even smaller in the photos than in real life it was a massive gap!

almost appears to be "leave the window up, and cut it on the inside" type of timesaving install.

yes, it's oldschool, but conservative. if you are not into the details its acceptable already. but this kind of edging should cost lesser than a zero gap or microedge. as long as you don't see light and bubbles when the window is closed, I think its acceptable.

I like the ones with a micro on one side for a recent r&r and then a 1/4" edge on the other!!
