The contractor calls me a few hours later and asks if I can meet him today to pay me. He "Thanks" me for calling the owner because it lit a fire under her to pay him. I was like whatever, I just want paid M-F'er. The main reason I posted this thread is hopefully someone else will read this and not get discouraged when someone doesnt wanna pay. I did some research and basically if the guy keeps not wanting to pay you, Contact the building or suite owner to see if they are willing to resolve the issue. If not file for an occupancy lean and then make a small claims at your county courts (If its under $5000) and have all your paperwork (Contractor contact info, copies of invoices, bounced checks...ect..). It costs around $50 to file a claim. Ity usually takes about 60 days for it to go to court. No lawyer necessary. Anyways, hope this doesnt happen to anyone, cause its a pain in the arse fo sure!

had a similar thing with a job we did in end of december, got paid early march! its all game to fock u over. good thing you got paid man.
