Film comparison

What are you comparing them for? Half are metal films

Color and adhesive!! I should have stated that! :bs

I have been very curious for the last year what the difference in films' colors are.

A big thing for me is adhesive, too. I like a film that is on the edge of having too much initial tack.

Just my :bs on the films.

I am going to try new stuff (new to me) out- just thought I'd post what I like / don't like.

Also, I'm ordering MaxPro too! :lol

You will like the Sirius then. I use Slip Ease(the fimhandler slip) and it makes the film almost too tacky, but its not a bad thing. You can move it around for about 10 seconds after putting it on the window, but once you pass the first squeegee over it its locked in place. Makes it nice on the back windows, since I've switched I don't have tons of little fingers popping up all around like I used to. Plus, the adhesive starts setting fast, because not even 5 minutes after putting it on, if I go to push a little pocket of water I missed that I noticed you can see the adhesive just starting to smear on the outside. I like my films to tack up fast, and all this is happening when its ~40 out too.

The ATR is the best of the ones you mentioned.. IMO..

STek Carbon is a nice looking dyed film and shrinks pretty well.

But if I had to choose, I'd go with ATR or try LLumars' ATC, it's their dyed line and it's thicker than the old AT line...

I like it alot... :spit

I've been the Global route and really not impressed...

I really like the global, and am switching to it and VT for my auto lines. MUCH cheaper than SG and I kind of the like the little bit thicker film. Which one depends on what I decide to order that day. Just this week order a 40 of QDP 20 and a 40 of VT sirius 5. Both films look, feel, and perform very similar.

I switched over from Global about 2 months ago, never looked back. VT is the shizzle as far as I'm comcerned. Try a little less slip if you want it to tack sooner.
