Slip shrink method

Out of necessity last night I tried out the lightly spray slip solution wipe in and let dry method to shrink. I was doing a coach and I got to the two really big, extremely curved upper windshield windows and realized I forgot can of SS180. So I had to try it out. It worked pretty darn good. Not quite as much movement as I like with the wax but it got the job done.

Shaping Spray 180. Jay Moore at Enpro distributing possibly founded the wax method. Wax in a can. The only "dry" method I use. Genius. You can literally hold the heat gun to the film for 20-30 seconds and not burn the film with wax. Its amazing.

How does the wax affect the burn point of the film ?? Does it sync the heat away ???

I dont know. I have have done it though, left the heat on the film for a long time and it didnt burn through. Crazy.

It is crazy, I have used and tried almost every method out there and nothing gives you the ability to have your way with the film like the SS180
