I don't have any fancy tools to remove the mirror but when I do a ford I all ways remove the mirror with no problems

guess just know how the mounting system works

it would have to...the film is at the same angle as the as1...the as1 is what is angled on the windshield and is the design of the car...I didnt change or make my own as1...if you fallow the as1 it clearly goes to the bottom on the matrix......

I would say yes that this front strip will pass all as1 laws...

next time you get one in your shop check it out...the first as1 that travels at a angle, I never seen one do this...

guess you dont realize that there is two different styles of mirrors used?

how you would test it? I know when I added a straight line to the yellow 05 mustang, my customer got a ticket for it(it was at the bottom of the matrix and went out from there) so I added this curve to the strip following the as1- the cop had to sign off on it so im sure it was looked at by jso...I know for a fact that one cop has said it to be legal...

By tested I meant if an officer or inspector ever reviewed it. Personally, I wouldnt care how anyone tinted their car :lol
