I was doing spring cleaning and throwing away odd ball stuff that you forget you have or not alot on the roll. It seems like I can have something for years and not need it.

I just threw away 25' of 1020B that I had left over. I had ordered it for a job and thought, I am never gonna use that. I threw it away Thursday and of course the job I originally ordered it for needs 3 more windows done. I thought no problem I have there film until I remembered I tossed it. I can have something for years it doesn't matter what it is and as soon as I throw it away I need it.

Just get tired of all the stuff taken up space. When I order decorative film I always order extra incase something gets ruined which it never does so I have lots of odd %&$# around.

On a good note my shop is all nice and organized.

Im in the process of moving right now. Just last week we packed up and moved all our remnant rolls. Holly crap, I must have had 10 rolls of white frost with between 5 and 15 feet left. 10 rolls of silver stuff, 4 foot and 5 foot rolls up the wazoo, of everything else you can imagine. It ALL got tossed. I have been squirreling it away for years and it was time to clean house.

yea 25 ft, thats not trash.

It's trash to me when it is a film you do not carry or sell.

It's one of those films you forget you even have so if I happened to need it again I probably would have reordered it again and ended up with more stuff sittin on the shelf

      Residential Film without blue hue?

      Take a look at 3M's Nightvision or LLumar's Dual Reflective series, they both have a warm tone to them.

      Steer clear of Black Armour, Suntek, ASWF. The others are good choices if you are in Australia. Check out the reviews of the installer too. It’s not just the materials that have to be proper. Never go for the cheapest!!!

      Residential Film without blue hue?

      Hey guys I am in the process of having window film installed in my home but have a question about which brand I should go with. Hoping yall can help me out. I have a room that faces a busy street and as a result my blinds pretty much always stay closed. I love having natural daylight but not so much people being able to see what i'm doing in my room/all my expensive equipment. I used to work in the window film industry as a helper/installer/salesman when I was in highschool and we did a lot residential/commercial work. The specific brand of film we used always left a certain blue and cool appearance. Is there any brand of residential film that does not have this effect? I mainly just cannot stand having blue light amplified and am looking for a film that has a neutral shade to it or even a warm/yellow hue. I have single pane windows and I do not necessarily care about heat rejection but if I have to pay more for a ceramic film rather than a dual reflective or a standard film I am willing to if that helps solve the issue. Again, any help is really appreciated with this there are so many new window film brands out there and it really is cool to see how far the industry has come.

      Automotive Tint Comparison

      LLumar, 3M and Solargard have in the industry as far back as the genesis of window film mid-1960's). Solargard is the younger of the three and all others came to play in the last 20 or so years. I've had all three on my vehicles over the years and my current is 3M Crystalline on my Jeep since 2015. It still has stable color, scratch coat is holding strong and impeccable adhesive clarity. Never been garaged. My choice toady would be 3M or LLumar.

      Hook up with Glassy Business and get all the ins and outs of pro vs DIY with window film. That company goes back way before my retirement in 2015. I want to believe they are/were a Vista Film dealer and I cannot remember the owner's name. Peace out.

      Once more thank you, you are the best I been looking at the specs for the products you mention and info into tinting a window. I recently did wrap my wife's car and it turn out really nice, for what I have been seeing tinting a window is similar and I am tempted to do it myself. With that said I can't find any place to buy the products you mention, I found quite a few films in Amazon but they seem sketchy. There is other web sites selling films but the ones you mention I can’t locate, anyhow is there any place where I can buy this products?
