need a tip on resetting the airbag light on a titan

you can try taking the battery ends off the battery and touching them together (not attached to the battery of course). This will drain any and all capacitors, or you need a scan tool. Part stores have some and will do it for free most of the time. Usually it means something was unplugged with the key on, is still unplugged, or it is damaged.

from some forum, try:

Dash Air Bag Sensor Reset

as some have found out--and was posted somewhere on the forum ( I searched and couldnt find it) so I thought I would re post it for others.

If the front dash cover is off, and the engine is started the air bag sensor get screwed up and flashes on the dash, to reset it do the following

1)turn ignition switch from off to on

2)within 1 second after the aribag light starts to flash---immeditely turn the ignition off

3)after ignition is off, wait for more than 5 seconds

4)then repeat steps 1 through 3---do all steps 3 times

5)turn the ignition on, and the airbag sensor should go off and not flash anymore
