New Suzuki Swift Watch when fitting Sunstrips..... Put plenty of towels etc at the bottom of the windscreen on the inside, the ECU is mounted in the drivers foot well and plugs are facing upward, I used a small amount of water for cleaning and fitting the strip and it ran down the 'A' Pillar and into the ECU! The wipers and radio came on and relays started clicking! I nearly SH!T myself lol I disconnected the battery in a panic and pulled the ECU out, a small drip of water came out of the housing! I took out the main board and dried it, cleaned and put back in with no problems! Could have been an expensive lesson but I got off with it! Lesson Learned! Take care

tinted a new reno hatchback today, while the car itself is a piece of crap as its a suzuki the car is super easy to tint. the back hatch glass is pretty flat compared to most cars and the rear rolldowns can be done without pulling panels, I wish they were all like this as I would be a rich man.

Hi - There aren't many posts here to do with the new Suzuki Swift. As I'm a fairly new tinter and have never done a swift, I always check the forums to make sure from the more experienced tintiers that there are no problems or specific things you need to watch out for. Can I assume that this is a straight forward car to tint. Many Thanks

New model out now, fairly simple but for those who pull trims....... It's very easy to get the trim off, just 2 screws and the panel can be removed. However at the top of each door it has a rubber insert and this is a bitch to pull out. Instead of just being slotted into the metal groove, these rubbers have teeth! Why they are so hard to pull up is because the strips anchor in behind metal indents (4 in the front and 3 in the rears) which therefore lock them into effectively a one way position. A lot of effort is required to get them out with some swearing to boot but be careful not to bend them. Rear 1/4 also has tight access. One piece very easy in the rear and n…

Nice car, no door trim removal necessary on any of the doors, just lift the gasket out. Not a nice rear screen however as it is very bent and fixed 1/4 vent is one of those with the inner rubber tricky to get into as it comes back onto the glass and it is reasonably tight for room to install. devil

I just thought this was a funny post, I did my first 1998 Suzuki Swift the other day, didnt even know suzuki made cars, hahaha ...but im pretty sure the designer of this car took a look at an egg and said " hey I wonder if we can make the windows this shape!", lot of shrinking on that one...cant say that I hope to see another one of those anytime soon!

I just did the little hatchback version , pretty neat little car . Sorta pt cruiserish , all windows straight forward except for little front windows . Back glass went in easy one piece and door panels only have three phillip screws . One on door latch and two hidden behind door pull . also one push pin fastener on front doors .
