Dont worry ProTint!! Just take it easy, theres not a lot of heating involved on the back glass, it is basically flat!!! Easy As Hell!!!!!!!

Tinted a few at my shop and never had any problems or issues regarding the rear glass. I have heard about stuff like that happening but is probably due to a manufacturer's defect or poor installation from the factory where there is alot of stress on the glass and with the extra heat absorbed from the tint, it could quite possibly shatter the glass. Hope I never come across a bad one. Here is a picture of one that I did. We used Sungard Desert Smoke 20% rear, 30% rear sides and 40% fronts.
