suntek cxp 80

Recommended Posts

I was thinking of trying out some cxp 80 on some whole windshields, not just the strip. I was just wondering if anybody knows if it will really make that big of a deal as far as heat rejection goes? I have had a few custys ask for some film on there but I've never done it because they wanted to dark so I was thinking of offering this to them if I could get some good input on it. by the way I will be checking with the dmv tomorrow to make sure it will pass.

tinting a whole windshield is illegal so i wouldn't bother visiting the dmv... :thumb

but i'm sure the heat reduction will be noticible, and don't forget to mention UV ray protection...

i have CXP 70 on my windshield in my pickup...it's ok i guess

i had the cxp 70 on my w/s, after day 2 i regretted it and just took it off a few days ago FINALLY!!

1. its not clear at all

2. in certain sunlight it can get so hazy its tough to see out of

3. heat rejection is unnoticable, stick with just a brow

I was also maybe thinking of 70% blue by ewf. I know that we wear safety glasses at my other job that are tinted blue and they make things really clear looking and you don't have to squint as bad I didn't know if that would be an option. All suntek offers is the 50 blue and I figured that would be to dark.

i know what youre talking about, ive seen them in yellow, but keep in mind they are made that way.

with film you just wont get that clarity, best ive seen is a sputtered film, but its metalized which will show up to polarized sunglasses

we've been using and installing CXP from 5% up to 70% for quite sometime now and haven't had 1 complaint regarding this haze?? I've installed (3) 70% windshields in the last 2 weeks and haven't had anything but good feedback?? I haven't installed on any of my own vehicles so I haven't been able to experience first hand guess I need to :lol
