carpet cleaner works really well, 3m makes an adhesive remover put on towel rub on glass glue no more I don't recommend the this for large areas but its great for spot removal

This is my trade secret although I am sure a couple other ppl know about it but none of the tinters I have met so far havent. I will use floor stripper if there is a layer of glue left on back glass. Make sure you have paper towels a old scuff pad you can ruin and I will also wear gloves. Turns it to gunk and comes off so easily!

I use simple green 1st, works ok and doesn't smell as bad a ammonia. Sometimes it just takes awhile. I don't remember who posted about the floor striper here awhile back but thought about trying that too, have some lying around...

Just order a gallon of simple pink from Zola and quit messing around ...
