Simple, but possible overlooked tip for hybrids.

Recommended Posts

I've tinted a couple older Prius cars now and the battery life seemed to be less than stellar. I was working on a couple hybrids this week and started worrying about the battery. I went ahead and "started" the car and left it that way. Sure enough, once the battery dropped low enough, the car would kick on for a couple minutes and shut down. From now on I will probably just tint hybrids while it's "running".

just did a new s400 hybrid. i was scared so i just ran the car for a cpl mins every half hour

whenever we started it up it went straight into motor. idk if its a diff type of hybrind.

im going to try your way on the prius

Some of the hybrids will run the engine when cold. I did it on the hyundai hybrid. It scared the %&$# out of my co-worker, lol. I was helping a customer and he was on another car and it started.
