Vehicle wrap - Honda Element with Plastic Fenders

Recommended Posts

So I bought a new (2004) truck to serve as both a work vehicle and a rolling advertisement.

Does anyone have any experience with applying film to plastic fenders??

I am in Montreal, and we have some nasty winter weather.

I can't find any information for 3m controltac films, as to whether its possible or not.

Thanks in advance.

when using the control tac wrap material you need to install it dry. for the plastic fenders I have used the 3M primer in a light mist sprayer on the plastic then wait for it to dry. the material will stick very hard so make sure that you have it positioned before even lightly pushing on it. otherwise if you lift the material you may break sections of the roll.

Hi Measure 2X,

I know nothing about PPF, but I am writing because I also own and drive a 2003 Honda Element. In fact, mine is the exact same color as yours. I have driven the vehicle for 115,000 practically trouble free miles. I am still on the original brakes and clutch !!!

One of my customers put 280,000 miles on his '03 Element. I love this car and plan on driving it forever !!!!
