One ply or 2?

Hey guys,

Quick question and you can flame me if you want but how else will I know if I dont ask. Do you guys prefer 1 ply or 2? I tinted the back glass of a 97 camaro yesterday and was using my EWF true black 2 ply film. Not sure why but I could not get the film to stretch like I wanted. After trying to manipulate the film for a while I gave up and broke out some old 1 ply suntek film I had and it seemed to be easier to stretch on the glass. I know were talking 2 different thicknesses and films but do you guys think thats a thickness issue or a film issue? I really like working with the EWF but this was my first time to tackle a camaro window with it and it just wasnt working for me. Any ideas? Sorry if that is a stupid question....

2 ply. When trying to stretch, I feel like this video shows pretty good what you have to do.

I dont think snapping the film would come into play much on a camaro back window. I kno someone on here was testing the snapping on back glass but not sure a camaro would be the car or it. Thanks for the replys everyone......or you 2 lol

Not the snapping part, but the stretching he does at the end to get the film to lay flat. On those back windows I usually only shrink the top portion. Bottom lays down. Here's one in Classic black ,not camaro but a trans am same glass. <a target='_blank' title='ImageShack - Image And Video Hosting' href='http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/337/img0250zk.jpg/'><img src='http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/1459/img0250zk.jpg' border='0'/></a>
