PLEASE HELP! CORRECT PRESSURE SETTING FOR VE Q42

Hello All,

I have a Vinyl Express Q42 and I am having a hard time setting the pressure to cut tint. Could someone with experience on this cutter please let me know what setting code/pressure to set it at?

Is that the same as my graphtec fc8000? If so, I have the blade pressure from 14-17 depending on the film and how sharp the blade is. Speed usually around 25. I can get you the rest of the specs tomorrow if these are relevant to your machine.

Sometimes the blades have a break in period and requires adjusting pressure up a notch (one set point) until it cuts cleanly every time.
