2010 Aston Martin DBS V12 Coupe Huper Optik Ceramic 30 / 70

Tackled this beast a few weeks ago...

Came in as a R&R and had 5% junk film on it!

Removal went very well and the install was easy.

Installed Huper Optik Ceramic 30 on sides and Ceramic 70

on the windshield.

Only thing to watch for on doing the windshield on this model

is that the dash is tight against the windshield on the bottom 2" and has

less than 1/4" gap in between the two for squeegee clearance.

:thumb Nice Jake, those AM's are cool cars... I prefer the hardtops. :beer

Sweet car, Tuck.

Pretty nice having a film that shrinks on all 4 sides, huh? (c70)

Wait a min Huper shrink top to bottom and side to side?

BTW that is a sweet ass car. :thumb

Yes, the C-70 was designed to do that. It is easier to shrink than the other Huper ceramics.

Only the new c70, but it's a step in the right direction!

Yes...but I still only shrink it top to bottom. Haven't had a car yet that was that close to shrinking it to it's limits and needed side shrinking.

But yes...hope to see all the Ceramic films go to 4 dual direction shrinking soon!

Oh, and as for bi-lateral shrinking on the 70...

I didn't know anything about the shrinking in both directions until my rep told me a couple weeks ago.

I hadn't even tried shinking it on the sides until yesterday...and what a joke!!!

The ceramic 70 is in NO way bi-lateral shrinking!!! It shrinks no different on the sides than any other film!

So I will be sticking with my usual shrinking style!

Good to know! I've only heard, never experienced. :thumb
