NJ law states that no tint can be applied legally to the front windows. Does this stand true for vehicles that are registered commercial as well? I saw a post about the same thing on here but they were in other states so I didnt know if its the same. I know they allow tractor trailers to have their fronts tinted now but didnt know about anything else. Thanks.

Big rigs can be tinted but it must meet 70% NET VLT (glass + film = 70% or above); clear film will be legal. Big rigs are also regulated on a federal level with annual inspections and such; they are considered commercial so goes it for any truck registered commercial and falls under federally regulated.
