vacuum forming oracle 8300

Recommended Posts

just wondering if anyone has tried to vacuum form oracle 8300 on tail lights? or if you think that would even work. Seems like it would be a lot faster and easier instead of heating and working the film around with a heat gun.

I have thought of this idea. Here are the possible negatives I thought of. 1. I don't believe you would manage to get all of the air out due to the adhesive. 2. I feel the film may stretch far beyond the amount I would normally stretch it, if so, it would probably want to shrink back over time, and pop off the light.

Email me if your interested, I think I may have a solution to the possible air bubble problem, but I still feel the overstretching would be a concern. Not to mention pulling "some" lights is just way to much work, in my opinion.

I don't get on here enough to check for your response promptly, but if you want to discuss it, I get emails fast. Ill pm you my email.

I regularly Install Lamin-X and sometimes use 8300 for certain applications.
