Premium shield and scratching?

Anyone out there using the premium shield and getting scratches/squeegee burns in the film while squeegeeing it out of the cars.?,..i had a problem with it and i have talked to others that have had the same kinda problems as me.

yep, got a sample and tried it out. once its scuffed its impossible to get out. I was waiting to hear if it happened to anyone else.

Yep same here and I use the Elite and no matter what I do always some sorta scratch.

How about yellowing on light colored vehicles? Any one else?

I have photos of 2 vehicles I've had to remove and replace with Xpel because the Elite went so yellow in just a few months.

Im sure it is something we are doing wrong.lol

And I called a few weeks ago and was told I am the first to report yellowing and the scratching was something I was doing wrong....... no one else has complained.

Plus what is a lifetime warranty really worth to us as installers? Here is more Premiumshield to put back on with the same issues. Thats not gonna help anyone.

Yes on both accounts. Got the same BS reply as usual on the scratches. "That hasn't been an issue"

Trying to wrap my head around a self healing film that gets beat up by a wet squeegee so bad.

Really not liking the no care attitude on their side.

I hear this is a non coated film... and many issues with it. There shouldn't be any problems during the install... if so how do you expect it to hold up to bugs, bird droppings, etc. ?

Glade to hear im not the only one,.....I got the typical "installer error",,squeegee burns,,sorry,..and you didn't use enough slip while squeegeeing it out,..sorry,..and you need to seal the film,..sorry.,..all this coming from Premiumshield themselves,..my distributor did a get job at taking car of the problem,..by beef is with the manny.

and,...the warranty doesn't cover scratching.
