Flat glass info

Recommended Posts

I know this has been beaten to death but I'm not funding where I need to go. Is there anywhere for starter information on flat glass? I looked at the one starter thing on the main page. I do know that much, so any help?

Finding not funding.

ring up your suppliers and ask for Film to Glass guides, product data sheets and any literature they may have.

Research on here, tons of good info.

Talk to your reps (maybe not Suntek) and listen and soak up whatever they say.

FG isn't that hard to install but you have to know your glass types and film to glass recommendations.

Yeah I've installed it before, I'm ordering from ewf and the film books say in them if there good for double pane or not. I just want to make for sure with all the horror stories you guys had up here that I don't run myself out of business before I get it off the ground good.

Horror stories are great to hear, stops you from repeating others mistakes.

Learn your glass types ie dual pane, low e etc and stick to the manny's recommendations and you will be fine.

Something can always go wrong but that's true in auto as well.

Overall , FG is probably less risk than auto in many ways when you know what you are doing.

Jump in , you will be fine, its too good an extra source of income to ignore.
