How many cars on a 30x100 roll

Hi,

 I was just wondering how many cars you get out of a 30x100 roll doing a standard kit? Front section of hood, bumper, fenders, and mirrors.

 

Just looking for a average, I know that if you do a truck vs cars there is a differance but just looking for a rough average.

Easy estimate is take the size of the bumper and double it for the partial hood/fenders, lights, and mirrors.

 

So...

 

Front bumper - 30" x 8'

Partial hood/fenders/lights/mirrors - 30" x 8'

 

Standard kit 30" x 16'

 

So about 6 kits per 100' roll. This is being on the safe side so you should get 7-8 kits.

I say 8 is pushing it. I'd say 6 for sure maybe 7 depends on the car.

On the other hand, if you have 12" rolls up to 60", then you can pick and choose what works best for what and save a lot of waste in the long run.  I've used a 6" roll a LOT on rockers, or for a separate thin lower bumper section, or A-pillars...
