Recommend me a tool pouch...

So I need a tool pouch for my vinyl wrap work. Sorry if this is not the right area, but I thought some one might have used something in the past. I want a pouch, not a belt like typical window tinting, I guess it could work for tinting also. I need it on a clip and not on a belt loop, I hate wearing a belt. I would like it to be on a swivel clip so it will swivel when I am sitting and always be vertical. I have seen the one from geek wraps, but I can't justify the $150 price tag. I know yellotools has one, but would like some other recommendations if possible.

to some extent I agree, but most pouches are about $25-$50 at most. A price tag of $150 is damn near 5 times the price! If it came loaded with tools, then you'd have an argument. I went to a local Fellers and tried on the Geek Wraps wrist thing, it didn't even fit me. It was too small too be comfortable and not worth spending $50 IMO. Hence my search for something  more practical

Yeah. That makes sense.

What about an upholtsterer, or local trim guy? Maybe they can stitch up something purpose built for you?

thought about that, but finding someone to do quality work for under $25 is going to be hard. I thought about making my own, but my sewing skills are non existent.

      This is not the fault of the window tinter. As you stated, all the rest of the windows are fine. This is failure in the window itself, due to a leak between the panes of glass. You have lost the gas in between the panes and moisture has gotten in.

      Hello i have just had my house windows tinted but im left with these hideous streaks. I made the supplier retint the window and same thing happened. They tinted the rest of the windows without an issue. they’re saying it’s a fault with the glass, which I find hard to believe. It’s just a double glazed window. I tried scrubbing it from the outside but that did nothing any ideas what this could be? I’ve attached a photo

      TintX Puremax and Koolmax

      All Right cool. I've been practicing with an inexpensive tint I found on amazon. Its called Rockrose. I'm just about ready to make some cards to pass around to get clientele. I've been debating if I should start with Puremax cuz its a lot cheaper or Geoshield cuz of the great quality I've heard of. I'll probably go with Geoshield so I can make it easy on myself and make sure I do great quality work for my customers. Are you already doing doing jobs for customers? If so, did you stop using the Puremax and now only use Geoshield?

      Ghosting week require a smoother, more even and spread out shrink. Look at my old "ryk shrink" using 2 heart guns with an over/under setup. That would be my suggestion.

      Heavy Ghosting - Geoshield "Geo" Line

      Hey all, I am not a pro tinter but more or less just someone who likes to experiment / DIY. Wanted to ask if there was anyone here who has used the Geoshield "Geo" line for automotive purposes? I really like the color, but I get really bad ghosting for anything that requires decent shrinking. The film is specced as architectural, but has a PS adhesive so some use it in auto applications. I sent an email to see if that is the reason why it's for flat glass .. lol This is a sputtered TiN film and has a beautiful color imho. This reminds me of Huper Optik, and not quite sure but I think Johnson had a line called "InsulatIR" that I could never get my hands on to try. The film has a slightly purplish reflection (TiN I guess), when put on green auto glass, filters out and looks super neutral. ❤️ I've had it on my auto for a while but my rear window is a mess when the sun hits it (ghosting) and was curious if this is just not suitable for auto Any info would be appreciated. Skill issue, ie: shrink with lower heat? lol Thanks.

      chameleon window tint good quality

      If you don't mind trying to source some, there is a large Japanese manufacturer that makes a bunch of dichroic - looking films. It might be your style, but it would be hard to get your hands on some. https://www.braintec.co.jp/filmlab/ I believe some of the films do have decent heat-rejection, but because of the nature of the films, looking through them can be really funky. They are well-known in Japan and would likely be of decent quality. Also, very expensive. Depending on where you are, shipping would also be $$$.

      TintX Puremax and Koolmax

      I feel the difference in quality with geoshield. Not only is it easier to peel the liner off but shrinking feels better and I think the material feels slightly thicker(helps with not creasing) Only downside that the price noticeably different. For mainly everything Its atleast another 100 on top of for example stuff from tints Lexen. I haven’t tried solarfree either.
