back glass squeegee techniques

Recommended Posts

I was taught to work from the top down, but I switched to matching my shrink pattern.  If the backglass has a lot of shrinking top and bottom, then I try to match that "H" pattern when I squeegee the inside.  I set the middle center out to the sides ("H" pattern) according to the shrink and then push the bottom out and then the top working from the center up or down.

I feel like when you shrink the back glass that you are creating a form and I try to match that form rather than fight it.  It has just seemed to work better for me this way after trial and error.
