i would highly recommend you pay a good trainer or take a short course from one of the UK film distributors,

 

if your looking at tinting as a career, invest in your self,

 

that way you'll be able to tint vehicles successfully, charge good money and waste less film!

Good advice that I will take on board! I have looked into courses, the Llumar one is a 3-day course that is based at their HQ almost 300 miles away from where I live, so although it would be a great benefit to me I unfortunately just can't afford the £1000 for the course plus the £500 or so to travel there and stay for the duration

I done my first real customer earlier in the week and he was very impressed - have the Audi coming in at the end of April and a Volvo V50 at the start of May, so the ball is rolling!

Here are some pics of the Mini from this week. The sides went on first time with a little bit of heat but the rear took 2 attempts because I ran over a finger and creased it prior to heating!

The Audi was not fun at all. Stupidly tight seals, stupid shifting windows, stupid plastic rear boot trim, stupidly curved rear screen. Grrr. Managed it eventually though and very pleased with the results! Don't fancy another one any time soon though.
