Howdy Folks

Recommended Posts

Thought I'd pop back in a year later and say hello to everyone, hope the tint world is treating you well.

Thought you'd get a kick out the fact even as a former tint rep you can run into a bad tint job. I picked up a car in Tennessee a few weeks back and inherited a vehiclewith a pretty sloppy film install from a really rude shop. Took me right back to my rep days. Sometimes knowing what a good install and a great shop is can be a curse cause if you get anything less than that you get pissed! No warranty card, no clue what they installed, don't care that they scored the rear window when cutting the pattern, gaps and dirt galore... oh man

So, what film should go back on this thing??? 20% was too dark for me anyhow  :D

Hey, man! Welcome back, and that's an interesting thing about being in the film industry is catching yourself inspecting the tint regardless. I do it sometimes out of habit.
If that beamer is black interior and the 20% was too dark, try a medium shade at 35% since it'll appear slightly darker than the actual film is due to the interior  :thumb  :thumb

Welcome back.  :hat  Nice car  :thumb

Since you said 20% is to dark for you, I would look into the 30% and 35% ceramic films since you are going lighter.
