Hey Dudes.

Been a long time. Lol.

Is Global really that good?

I would never have thought that a company in India could beat you Americans?

Or am I missing something about the rest of the world and what they have now?

There are basically 2 main players in the film world------   Llumar and Global  ------   or  ----  Global and Llumar ---  however you want to call it.

Global and Llumar are the only 2 that can say they have it from ---  CORE PRODUCT --- UP!!

This is from the Global web page about themselves  :thumb

Global window films are in a class apart. They are the result of a single-source, vertically integrated manufacturing process. Simply put, that means Global films are manufactured in a state-of-the-art, ISO-9001:2000 certified facility that makes just about everything that goes into their window films, from the base petrochemical intermediate (DMT) right down to the finished products. This eliminates dependency on other manufacturers enabling complete control over the entire manufacturing process—from polymers to packaged goods. That’s important because it ensures high quality and ultimately, total consumer satisfaction.

Yes I understand that.

But how does it rate to the llumar facility?

Surely someone has been to both.

I would love to see the difference.

But if Garware have been doing it for a long long time than they must have a great facility?

The only thing I know about India is Slum Dog millionaire and they grow Tea. Lol.

From what I am gathering... as far as technical information. Everyone seems to be looking at the TSER. At least it seems to be the only available spec from most film companies. Anyway, I've printed out quite a few spec sheets on many different films. Looked up the rest,,, and Global seems to be winning the TSER market. :thumb Their numbers are better than everyone else's. Incuding Formula One :DD
