shrinking two paterns at once.

Recommended Posts

When trying to heat shrink two patterns i find they seperate when shrinking out fingers and dont crease but almost leave some small horizontal bubbles which will push out once installed with a heat gun. Is there a way of avoiding this or just shrink them seperatly.

Ive noticed when double shrinking if you smooth the finger out to quickly after heating it, it will leave small horizontal bubble line.  Trying waiting a couple seconds longer before smoothing it out, works for me.

Also, if the fingers look really tall or theres a lot of them, I shrink separately.

Yep, when shrinking two patterns at once you have to shrink them slow. Pull the heat gun further back from the film and what I do is use my fingers to press the film down first so I can feel if the films is going to try bunching up before using a hard card to smooth it out.
