Front windshield tint

Recommended Posts

Most states do not allow film on the full front windshield unless the customer has a medical exemption. Even a 80-90% VLT film is classified as being illegal in my state.  :twocents

The state's not requiring med waiver are TX, NC, WA and HI. However, the text in their laws is clear as is in clear transparent film can be installed  LLumar's AIR 90 can be used in TX without being hassled about blue in color. AIR 80 was considered not acceptable based on its pale blue look did not meet TX laws wording.

Ok but like if I have a 40 % 36'' that's I use on the rear Will that one work in the front 2

Most windshields will be under 36" in height so you'll be fine with that roll.

Vehicles like (Ford focus/cmax Toyota Prius Honda Fit) You'll find that the 36" barely cuts it by a hair, and would require a larger roll.

Same thing with vans or commercial vehicles. Those you will require a larger roll. Needed a 40" roll when I tinted my work van(VW Caddy)
