Front door and quarter window

Hi

1. Is tint windows at the front door the same as in the door at the back? Is it more difficult?

2. Doing quarter window in for example golf 4 , audi a3 I , opel zafira A do i need to draw windows out of door if there is not black dots around ?

Depends on the make and model of the vehicle. There really is no real answer to your question except some front quarter windows may be easier than the rear, and vise versa. 

 

yeah pretty much, sometimes the front quarter windows are a biznatch. you can barely get your had in there to clean them. I prefer the rear quarter windows over the fronts quarter window any day.

looks like he's from Poland. I actually played on the pro hockey team in krakow Poland for a year. unreal how many people there couldn't speak a lick of English and It wasn't just Poland, many places in Europe you can't even communicate with them since they don't understand what I was saying hahah. drove me nuts.Couldn't wait to get the hell out of there and back to north america at the end of season.

      South facing windows DR film

      Install went great. I went with NV-25, I am very happy. The room has been darkened significantly, from bright and hot to much more pleasant and enjoyable. Watching TV during the day is no longer blinding, when it is cloudy it is definitely a bit gloomy, I am glad I did not go with NV-15. I plan on getting more windows done in the future to help cut down on heat energy. Thanks for everyone's input!

      Stratos 70 on windshield, what is this?

      Captain Obvious has two cents err senses to share: 1) The film should be removed and replaced, because it appears to have adhesive blemishes that shouldn't be there, and 2) The film should be reviewed/inspected once taken from the roll to avoid losing time and resources due to manufacturing issues. Little pieces not so much, but back glass and windscreen pieces ... definitely.

      I switched so long ago... first to KDS but they went away. NT are great though. I use a piece of white strapping material as a cutting buffer between the blade and glass. Some use a button but I didn't like the feel..

      Stratos 70 on windshield, what is this?

      I can't win with getting tint decent on the windshield. I had 3M on my F150 done twice and still has major defects. Recently did Stratos twice on my F350 and I see this granular spotted, texture pattern on the tint. It's super obvious in the corner here but also right in my view when driving. It's honestly hard to point out and show someone but when your driving and stuff is moving behind the windshield, it becomes more obvious. The lighting also matters. The first time I did the windshield, I had a two foot line on the windshield. Thinking it was tint, they removed the tint and it was apparently a defect in the Ford windshield. An issue between the laminated glass layers caused this big defect. So they removed the tint, I had Ford replace the windshield on a 2024 F350 but when the tint shop removed the tint, they made a bunch of micro scratches in the front windshield, probably from scrapping the glue off. I told them but I didn't care since Ford was replacing the windshield anyways. So if basically I'm trying to figure out what this texture stuff is and if I should have them replace or remove it. Replacing it might just have different issues but also afraid they will scratch the windshield.
