so had a viper gts come into the shop today for ppf...lady told me she had a different hood when i originally talked to her and ordered the film so we got the wrong kit. if anyone is looking for a 2013 dodge viper gts 3 scoop hood fender and mirror full kit pm me for a deal as i wont be using this kit and it will just be sitting around

That's why I cut my own kits and only when the car is onsite.

Or when dealing with kits, you collect a deposit before hand to cover your cost of ordering the kit. If they give you the wrong information, you are not screwed in the mix and they have to bite the bullet. But I do recommend getting into your own cutting at some point.

If you must pre-buy your kits ask the client for photos of the car. It can save you the heartache.

  Install went great. I went with NV-25, I am very happy. The room has been darkened significantly, from bright and hot to much more pleasant and enjoyable. Watching TV during the day is no longer blinding, when it is cloudy it is definitely a bit gloomy, I am glad I did not go with NV-15. I plan on getting more windows done in the future to help cut down on heat energy. Thanks for everyone's input!

  Captain Obvious has two cents err senses to share: 1) The film should be removed and replaced, because it appears to have adhesive blemishes that shouldn't be there, and 2) The film should be reviewed/inspected once taken from the roll to avoid losing time and resources due to manufacturing issues. Little pieces not so much, but back glass and windscreen pieces ... definitely.

  I switched so long ago... first to KDS but they went away. NT are great though. I use a piece of white strapping material as a cutting buffer between the blade and glass. Some use a button but I didn't like the feel..
