Clear Bra Light Scratch

Hi All

I've managed to lightly scratch my 3M ventureshield clear bra. It's not dug into the clear bra but only the surface has a slight Mark.

From experience what's the best method for removing the scratch?

If it doesn't self heal, then it might have to be replaced. I don't mess with a lot of ppf, maybe some clear fingernail polish carefully applied might help fill in the spot....IDK.

Nothing you can do to remove it. If it's an appearance thing for you, then you can have it replaced, but then you'll be replacing it everytime. If you can deal with it then leave it be, as it's doing what it was designed to do and protecting your paint.

Yes, I've "corrected" a few, as with paint, it can't be too deep or it will have to be replaced

As Waxworkz and Jeff suggest. Get a proffesional detailer who knows his stuff to take a look. I've fitted quite a bit of VS in my time and seen some scratches removed and others that will not budge.

Hi.....

It is best to seek the help of expert car groomers to get this fixed. If you try your hand in fixing this without adequate knowledge you will end up causing more trouble. Act fact and take the vehicle to a good car groomer.

A heat gun that keeps moving sometimes will heal a scratch in VentureShield.  Keep it moving until it is glossy and stop.  If that doesn't do it you will likely have to replace
