Solution To Install Graphics

Customer really wanted a Fasara film for a graphics job instead of a vinyl film.  Fasara not really meant for this and doesn't tack easily to the glass letting you remove the mask in a fairly short time.  On the job now and have tried a few different solutions to tack faster - with ok, but not always great results.  And sometimes bubbles left under from maybe using too much solution and tacking too fast?

 

Have tried Rapid Tac and Solar Gard PS Accelerator.

 

Anyone else have luck with other solutions?

Rapidtac 2 tacs up quicker than reg rapidtac,,probly has more alky(kinda burns eyes/just got some to try),,just add some alky/isopropal to what you have

Not sure what Fasara is?,,but most glass applied graphics with application tape go on dry

Tint solution has to much soap for vinyl graphics,,probly already know that

Here's hoping you had the sense to use the lowest tack possible premask ,said your prayers and ate your Wheaties.....

 

ONE drop of slip in a pint sprayer and a REALLY fine mist on glass and film.Should look like tiny pinpoint dots of water EVERYWHERE.

The film will kind of float on the surface tension of those billions of dots of water.

 

Gotta be committed to being fast and

 

 

 

PERFECT targeting or hinge method and PERFECT hard card pattern slightly angled snowplow style.

 

About 5 mins for the film to stick to glass better than the premask is to the film. Go at any mask on glass first then gently at the edges and as long as you had the patience of 47 saints you should have a great time

Thanks, guys.  Still working this out.  Lower tack pre-mask certainly sounds good.
