I was driving by a new tint shop today, so I decided to give them a call. I asked how much to tint my cherokee and he says $200, so I ask if he would do my whole windshield and he said yes, but it's going to be $120 more. I ask why so much? He says "the windsield is laminated so I can't use a heatgun to heat it I have to heat the tint in hot water to loosen it up before I install it :shiz so I don't break the glass". I almost wrecked my truck laughing my ass off!! :shiz

He told me he had been tinting 6 years, and was the most qualified tinter in the area. :spit:barf

some tinters are good salesmen. they give customers something like that and it sounds all technical and specific and customers are dumb enough to go for it.
