1999 chrysler lhs fingers on the top of window

I am tinting my first car, and I am noticing after I cut the tint to size, round out the corners, and start to lay it down, there are fingers on both the bottom of the window and the top. This wouldn't be an issue, but I am afraid to cause the top tint to shrivel since it is not attached to the glass. Is there any way to cause all the fingers to go to the bottom? I successfully got my back two windows done, but I had to take it extra slow to avoid shriveling the tint at the top.

Use your hard card to just move them to the bottom before you shrink. I'm assuming you're shrinking before install? Or you could also shrink top fingers out before you trim top edge. Avoiding "shriveling"
