ready2work
Anyone here tint automotive in PA? My question is can I give customers a warranty with film purchase without getting into trouble due to state legality issues? I tinted windows in SC where it is legal and this was never an issue for me. I recently relocated to PA and started tinting for a local shop and the owner wants to maintain a level of professionalism but I don't want to get into any trouble for tinting car windows and a film warranty is a paper trail. Any insight is greatly appreciated.
jh812
I have a buddy there that I've been up to help. He passes out a warranty with every job. I don't think you'll have any issues because it's illegal to have the tint not install it. What part of pa are you in?

ready2work
No in SC you can carry any film darkness you want. They do have a legal limit of darkness that a vehicle can be tinted.
