Stars on the rear defroster lines

That's common, any film is going to do that. Because the defroster lines are raised on the surface of the glass the window film, for lack of a better word, tents over them which can cause what you are experiencing. Some vehicles have thicker defroster lines and as a result it will be more noticeable on them than on others.

That looks like thick lines... But it also looks like it might have been squeegeed down and then moved. :dunno

 

I wouldn't call that exactly normal.  If that's a newer install it might (( MIGHT )) lessen up after it cures for a week or two :?
