Well said Td . This pretty much mimics my ongoing speech to certain customers for many years . I should just record it and hit play when it's asked now lol

This topic has been beat to death here over the years and anything we say will fall on deaf ears. That being said, it's fine and dandy that you are aware of the risk of being pulled over, and that's a risk you are willing to take.

The problem is, you are asking others to risk life and limb on your behalf as you drive a 2 ton vehicle with next to no visibility in daytime, much less in bad weather or night.

Your insurance company isn't going to take that risk.

When you crush some kid in a sidewalk or a bike lane that you didn't see, your insurance company is going to cite the unsafe modification and null your policy. So there you are, your life and someone else's ruined because you want to look good.

I understand what everybody is saying trust me im fully aware of all of that. For example I've known someone that had double 5% on his truck & everybody swore up & down oh no it would be impossible to see out of that at night & he had that set up for many years no issues & he eventually sold the truck like 6 years later. Known a few people to have 5% windshield & same thing oh no thats impossible to see out of & they have had it for months. I've even drove one of dem & yes it was dark but not like a spray painted window like people say its like. Have you guys ever noticed the set up some undercover law enforcement officers use? Some use 15% to 5% windshield or none. & most run double 5% all around. I have a friend thats a officer & he verified thats the set up alot of them use. & yes they have been running it for years & years & years. All im saying is i just hate when people like dark tint they are automatically called "ghetto". So i guess all of those officers are ghetto to lol. Like i said before its all preference. Now don't get me wrong if someone likes a certain set up & they are having real trouble seeing then yeah that's plain stupid & they should change it but if they are seeing just fine & can handle it so be it. But thanks for all the positive help everyone i truly appreciate it.
