Score marks on back glass from olfa

I left a 2 in score mark on a customers back glass and was wondering if anything can be done to blend it like polishing it. When I run my fingernail over it I can’t feel any indentations. Hoping there is a fix for this

Yep easy fix call a glass guy and have him replace it. And never under any circumstances cut on glass again.

I hand cut everything. I don’t work on enough cars for me to invest a plotter. But I may have to now. Yes I use a stainless steel olfa. Looks like this guy got a free tint job. :6pack

u always have to make sure your blade is sharp and you still cant press to hard on the glass (might just be pressing to hard). cutting with a dull blade will still score the glass. 

 

there is nano glass polishes but they barely work.

You don't have to have a plotter to not cut on glass, you've just gotta improvise. Use a Sharpie,  button, or plastic banding strap. If you don't have a glass wall to cut on get a white board or plexi glass. The blades now are made to cheap and glass is to soft to cut on.

Yea! the button or a piece of plastic from your core ends of your tint boxes will work perfect

If you can't catch it with your nail you might get lucky and have it polish out but glass requires special compounds and pads that aren't readily available at your corner parts store.

Mark your pattern with a sharpie on Back glass then go cut on your peel glass  board or one of your house  Windows or cut with a button or plastic  glass too sensitive these days.

...only use stainless steel blade no carbon...keep sharp edge...

I use a sharpie too.  Glass and gotten softer over the years and the Olfa blades have changed over the years as well.  The Sharpie method allows you to fine tune your cut on your peel glass as your well.  I use the sharpie to mark my front rear and some bottom edges on roll up windows and fixed quarter glasses as well.  Ive been using a sharpie for the last 12-15 years.  It was difficult to change when I did but now the sharpie is just another tint tool when I hand cut.
