Shop heaters

Any recommendation for a good  shop heater? I bought one of the torpedo heaters but looking for something I can use in the shop with the garage door down I was thinking of trying one of those patio heaters but didn't know if it was safe to use in doors.

You got the room or budget for a ceiling mounted heater? They make some really nice electric reznor style type of heaters. 

 

I paid $100 for mine and it heats my small one car shop perfectly. 30 amp double pole breaker and some wire good to go.

You need one of these. Ventless. 99% efficient. This one is a 100,000 btu that heated a 20x40 shop with 20' ceilings in Wisconsin for full time tinting. I used lp but they set them up for natural gas too. About $600 out the door at Northern tool. You'll need to hook up a thermostat too. I moved shops and don't need it at the new one so I'm taking this one to the garage. Used mine for two winters without a single issue
