I just read that TX law states that light transmission on the front and side windows must be greater than 25%. What is the darkest shade of film that you can use and still stay legal?

you can't use anything darker than 35% film.

the two front doors on any MPV have to be 35%, but the rest can be darker. on passenger cars, ALL the sides have to be 35%, the back glass can be as dark as you want. as long as you have side mirrors.

$10 says you'll be tinting illegal in 3 weeks. everybody tint the cars illegally. most cops don't enforce the rear windows, so most shops will do them as dark as the customer wants.

Crewdog have you looked at the yellow pages at how many shops are in that area? I was in El Paso and there was like four or five full pages of shops.

Aw shiz, :protint . I even found two in Georgetown. Any suggestions, besides don't move to Texas.
