Some Mannys recommend Distilled Water.

Probably to reduce risk of contaminates from hard water or other things you could find in the local water.

Actually against work safety to use 4 footers here now. Even tressels are banned. Those work platforms you posted fox are all were aloud to use now.

If your squeegee of choice is jumping or chattering leaving skidmarks you may want to spray some slip on the film and watch the overlap to ensure that she slides nice.

I've learned lots from this guys videos. I've posted his vids many times

Enough to know that its tons of work and REALLY loving it if that's what you want to do.

Welcome to the forum! Search is really a nice feature here on TintDude with lots of info on heat forming. The basics when using the heat gun can be reduced to three things.

Distance the heat is from the film

Speed you move the gun around the film

Direction you apply the heat to the film

It gets complicated with variations of those three movements

The only thing I do to my car is put gas in it.

 I had my car tinted 2 years ago.

I had  a flat tire the other day and something clicking under the hood this week.

The only thing done to my car by someone else was the tint so it HAS to be your fault.

Lol...if it makes you feel any better Tom...yesterday I had 2 tinters spend all day doing 6 panes believe it or not...and the business earned good money for it.

Got any pics of this project? I can't be the only one who would  like to see why this took so long .

Any job is a great job but designers need to pick it up. SOOO many ways to make that nicer for only "pennies" more.
