We got a call last week to film 3000 SF of glass. But.. It was temporary, and would need to come off in 45-60 days. They wanted to see out as well so construction white out was not a option. ... We installed .04 AG then silver15 on top of it... My shoulders and hands are beat, I feel like I was hit by a truck. It is the most I have hung in 2.5 days ever. ... So as we are packing up and leaving, the owner and architect / design team is walking through and decide they actually like the film and may want to keep it...

There is no one answer for this, But when we were doing cars, we had several dealerships and always tried to accommodate them as quickly as possible,and with as little disruption to their system as possible. It is a double edge sword, dealers want and expect service if they are giving you multiple cars a day,week,month. They should take some president over the one shot retail customer. Provided they are a loyal dealer. But remember, you sleep in the bed you make, some dealers are simply the scum of the earth, getting paid can be a exercise in temper control, paperwork and "lost POs" are always a possibility and if you give them to much slack, they will exploit any generosity you show, to gain a edge.

Finished up a marathon project today. Last thing was the elevator lobby walls and numbers. ..look close...very close.

In all seriousness, one of my favorites is fillet burgers. You take a fillet and slice it into burger size thickness. Thinner is better. Then marinate them in olive oil, salt and pepper for about a hour. Then throw them on the grill. Add american cheese and a grilled/ buttered roll, and wolf down 4-5 of them.

Film can do one of 3 things with heat. Absorb, transmit or reflect. Ceramic films have a high absorption rate and may not play nice with IG units. DRDS is going to be a dark reflective material that will alter the natural appearance of the glass ( but also keep out more heat ) Homeowners always have to make a compromise somewhere. spectrally selective films are going to give you the lightest appearance with the highest heat reduction for the VLT. They are also more expensive.

We did 52 skylights today. The designer specified 3Form material....almost 8k worth of it.... It looks like fiberglass. It is in a super high end condo complex that is being revamped. 13 units with 4 lights each.

I will post a couple this wkend. I painted the plastic fender flakes instead of trying to wrap them. It is not back together yet
