Well I had to sell my business three years ago because I couldn’t do it anymore had some hand surgery and now I’m looking to get back into it part time. My question is anyone else do it here part time? And how do you deal with customers only being able to tint in the evenings and weekends

I had a dealership who attempted to do things in house that i was charging for.  Funny to see the GM in a car wash trying to wash over sprayed plastidip off a car.  I sold my shops and went to work in the service department for a dealership, they decided I was their personal aftermarket installer and was having me order stuff and install without compensation.....negative ghost rider!  I was charging them 10% less than retail and they were happy with that before they tried to take it all in house.

I know quite a few people who have been looking for a software that can handle this.  I used to just design my own using the cutting software and a rectangular box, then you can add custom inverted cuts.

 What an odd duck.  I have been using SolarFX Ultra in the shop for over a year and have had no issues.  Seems like some little smurf drank too much silly juice.

I cut vinyl all day on my MH871, software is half of the problem as is the cutter memory, other than that they are cheap work horses.

After market amps have built in crossovers at least the ones I sell do.

This thread is helpful but has anybody told their customer to wait 30 days or so to see after the water eventually evaporates, will it begin to work again? I've fried some audio electronics doing windshields before but after a few days, this %&$# started working again. Was wondering. Im in the hole with a fried amp on a 2009 A5.

Replace with after market if needed, all the wires are there.

3 years for a sun strip....did you mention the pound of crank in the backseat, or were you hoping that would get thrown out cause no officer from 50ft away can tell when half the damn windshield is tinted.....jack wagon.

side windows....razor blades and ammonia and youll have yourself a large snot collection in no time!!!

I wonder if you get some wally world tint and install it wait a few days then steam it off might pull the glue off
