The film looks great and the hard coat feels great. Shrinking is almost too easy too

Once you get the hang of the strategy, it’s actually very easy.

I’ve used Solar Gard Supreme for many years. With the Camaro window, I would only shrink the top half of the window. During application, squeegee with very small strokes. Use the other hand to put the film down and squeegee with other hand. It will probably lift after laying down but just keep a bottle of 20/80 alcohol/water solution to put it down

That was shot down quickly

It will save time.

A good tip is to clean your peel board and the film. I like to wipe the edge of the film 6-8 inches I normally don’t clean the middle of the film. When getting to the end of rolling, let the last 8 inches hang and relax, then slowly slip the liner out. Watch it closely. If it touches the glass, shoot that area down with water. Then finish install.

I franky back glass and reverse roll on windshields. I’ll franky windshields if it’s a 4-runner or a Tacoma. I use Wincos for windshields, which crease very easily.

Yup, film is crap. I had a car return after a week. Little fingers developed on heater lines and would not go down.

Oh, that sucks

Are the bad reviews referring to the regular line or the ceramic line. I just used a box of black pearl ceramic and it was a beautiful film. Bottom edge lays down nicely too.

I work on a lot of Tesla’s. I have about 20 model 3’s under my belt. When I work on a Model 3, the first thing I do is the windshield. I lock up all the doors, and then go into the car and shut off the car under Security and Settings. After Tinting the windshield I finish off the rest of the car. This allows for all water to pass through and dry on the windshield. Haven’t had an issue after using these steps. My first 4-5 model 3’s resulted in “ghosting” on the screen before realizing what needed to be done.

I wouldn’t use it. I used to use NR Supreme. The film looks great and keeps its color, but the heat rejection is very low. It does have major adhesive failures too

I did the same. You can make the scratched window look new again. Just soak it in alcohol and scrape off all the Ir coating. So now I have a driver window sitting in my shop.
