Depending on the car I'd say I'm between 1.5 to 2 hours. Did a Hyundai elantra older style yesterday in an hour but they're about as easy as they come. I'm comfortable with my time and not ashamed of my work at all.
Yeah same here 1hr 30min to 2 hrs max...I take my time and clean the windows good for a real clean installation

I went to a training school,I pushed myself hard and I watched videos for tips and technics for cleaner installations

Have anyone had any issues with this line and company?????

I use global qdp and express classic black
This is 20% front and 5% rear

I used Palmolive
3sec count and it works perfect for me
I used to use dawn but I found it too slippery
Baby shampoo doesn't do it for me

I have done a lot of civics 2016-2017 and I have never had a problem...I'm surprise to hear this lol
-
what do you mean removed seals? on the back doors
-
Yeah I did the H pattern...is that the problem?
-
thanks for the pic
u didn't have any problems at all with the back doors?? I used a plotter maybe it cuts it out bigger on the side edges and that's y I had some problems,
back window installations was easy jus the shrinking when I was getting to the side edges where it curves
wat film is that? suntek?
-
never heard of them but I recommend...global qdp and express classic black or suntek hp
-
I did my 1st 18 camry lastnight and I found the back window a bit difficult to shrink when you get to the side curve edges......and is hard to tuck in the film on the back doors without creasin the film
.....probably better to bottom load those back windows
any comments/opinons on this car??
-
i would have to disagreed ....this gen is harder than the previous ones...that back window is difficult to shrink with those curved sides and the seal on the rear back doors are too far out like a jetta so is hard to get the film in there without creasing it ......maybe is easier to bottom load the rear doors......the quarter windows and the front windows are normal , no problems there

Thank you for the video ...I used qdp I like it too ....which one u think looks better? Qdp or solarfx or 20%,35?

Is ultras 5% darker than carbon?
And when installed do they have a blueish/green color to it? Or is a good black tone film?
I got a sample of the 20% carbon but looking at the film it has a blueish color to it ...idk maybe thats just me
I have tried different 5% films but none are as dark as suntek HP 5%
-
Thank u for ur response
Yeah sometimes I tell ppl $100 and they just reply "THANK YOU" so yeah I do think that they are thinking is cheap tint
I have plotters,a shop and I used
Suntek, global and express ...all lifetime warranty and color stable
I'll start raising my prices
