I don't tape anymore and I don't get corner specs either!! :thumb

Foam spray,Squeegee down hard and flush!! Slide film into the side

w/out touching sides..squeegee film towards the sides not down..

When bottom liner is peeled and film is in place(in gasket and felt)

squeegee towards the corner to prevent water running down with

any specs then that's when I'm able to sgueege from top to bottom!!

Sometimes there is some armor all or similar left on the felt. Tape won't stick. Wipe it clean with white spirit and wait a few minutes for it to dry or blow dry it. If you integrate it into your routine it is quick, dries by itself until needed, and the tape won't fail on you during applying the film.

I agree with the guys here that think taping is a necessity.
