Tint on the NEWS

there was a spot on the news last night and this morning about Window Tint and if it was a deal or a dud. They were saying how it could save you money on your utility bill and they showed a BTU meter measure artificial light on the untreated window at 300 and the tinted window at 55.

THey said it was a deal and mentioned to check with your window warranty because the tint will void it out but the film can pick up where it drops off.

Only thing that sucks is the company they showed installing the film has had lawsuits for using different film then what they paid for on other jobs. They dont have a good reputation.

But it can only help the business. It should be good for everyone. They didnt promote that dealer they just said his name.

Our company was part of a television show called House to Home a week ago. It aired yesterday morning and does again this weekend. A great deal for us. Interview + showing our installers working. :thumb Already getting responses from it. I missed the airing yesterday but have it set to tape this weekend. It was our main location that did the work and the owner who did the interview, so I haven't seen any of it. :chick

he didnt promote any certain brand of film, and the company that they showed doing the install all it said was thier name at the bottom of the screen. It wasnt a dealers commercial. Fox news has a guy that goes around testing products and tells people if they work or not.

Birds of a feather...

Yeah ... same news organization showed a spot in S Florida about safety film and the large missile impact using a two by four at 34mph. Launched it at several different thicknesses of safety film show the two by four going right through all targets.

Very negative airing (go figure, there's more drama in negative)... many viewers, though, had the where with all to pull a positive from the demonstration.....

They observed the fact that the two by four only made a hole in the film/glass and the film held the broken glass in place. Did the news people point this positive out?
