Ya, well....ammonia! I'll give ya' that one, but I don't think it'd have done much more than the 409 did today. I had tons of 409 in there, a solid hour in the sun & that back glass was pipin' hot by the end. Point being that there's no sure thing with film. Some of this stuff sticks somethin' fierce!

As for the "ghosting" thing.........Ya, it's startin' to show itself these days. I recently saw an old car I did over 10yrs ago & the bottom sheet on a seam I did had fallen down in one corner. This was probably due to the early Llumar adhesive issues they had, but I think that old film is just old film.

Ghosting is bad, bubbling is bad, purple is bad, adhesive problems are bad. I think that the only tint that's good for life is factory tinted glass. That's 'bout it.

Maybe the mfgrs will get involved in perhaps new film formulas tha'll tolerate this stuff better...........& in the meantime, maybe it'll mean more biz for you guys down under??
